ok, my first impressions before i post the pics.
i was floored by how realistic arnold's face was! it was a bit creepy actually!
there are a lot of details and the kind of quality i've come to expect from this line. a job well done IMO! i must say that the head is very delicate! i can see how easily damaged it can get so be careful when handling Arnie! as for the size compared to the TX.. i am happy to say that he is A LOT taller than her by almost 2 inches (from my untrained eye). it's hard to tell from my pics though so keep that in mind. his shotgun is very cool! great wood-like finish on the handle!! also, you can actually pump it but again i wouldn't advise it. this is strictly a display piece.
am i satisfied with this? YES!!
is it perfect? of course not! maybe it's because of the nature of the materials it's made from but there is a bit of high maintenance involved. i think i'll look into investing an acrylic case for it. i can't stress enough how his head can be so prone to damage. a slight letdown but not enough to disappoint tremendously. so the bit of maintenance i am referring to is the "powder kit" it comes with. yes, you heard me right.
this is one high class "doll".
he also comes with his trademark sunglasses but i am hesitant to put it on him for fear of ripping his "skin" off. remember the movie Darkman? hehe.
let's see.. what else.. so a small comment on human faces in general.. coming from an industry that "simulates" these types of characteristics i know how very complicated it can be. well, enough chat.. let me download the pics from my camera!
