Gru, I do too, it was just a joke. They nailed the head. Funny that so many companies have had such a tough time getting the dome and and head right through the years.

Way to go CM!

The only "plaque" is the one on the base, in the front. At Toy Fair back in Feb someone in the press said that "Giger would be signing the plaque". I always knew that they didn't know what they were talking about, and Giger would end up signing the COA.

Yes, but they showed a small plaque besides it's feet. I know. They may have given up the idea then.
Still alright with me, though, no prob. I mean, look at this thing! It could come with Scott's signature that I wouldn't mind!

It's about 20" deep x 18" wide.

Congrats on the score, DS!

@cap...I'll have to disagree with that statement, though. While the orginal was quite thin, it wasn't THAT wasp-waisted:

Thanks for the pics, Dan. That shows what a heck of a nice job CM did with this one. It's probably not too "waist thin" in person, and if Giger says it's the best Alien out there, then it's fine with me. He was VERY close during all the sculpting process, so I'm sure if he thought it was kind of "thin", which I still don't think it is, he(they) would have fixed it, just like they did with the head back(polished now). To me it's PERFECT. And the CM Alien is "turning", so that probably makes the waist a little less "fat". Defenetly the definite Alien statue. I can't see anyone toping this piece for years to come, if ever.
