Great piece but why did they give him red hair instead of blonde?

That's what kept me from getting it. Even the mini version had red hair.

Great Score! I have this statue and love it. Have him displayed next to a Hal Jordan/GL with a copy of one of the Neil Adams GL/GA team-up books behind. I think its the lighting because my GA's hair is painted more blonde than red .This is my favorite DC statue period.

This is one of my favorite pieces from DC Direct. It's one of the last pieces that matched Randy's early work for size and proportion.
I saw one for sale at Things from another world in Milwaukie, Oregon, when I moved my sister there in 2004. It was still on display when I visited again in 2005. So, when I was there in 2006, I was determined to buy it. I was very happy to see that it was still there. A lot of pieces have broken hat feathers and the one that they had was flawless.
I hope that you enjoy this statue. It's a great piece.

The GA statue is the one DC piece that I have been wanting to ad to my collection, but haven't yet. Maybe I'll have to buckle down and really start looking now. Nice pick-up.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
