The very strange thing about him is that people take him seriously at all. I mean, he says himself that he's just an entertainer. He tries to have it both ways, of course, but every time he's pressed on being accountable for something he's said (even when he's sounded 100% serious at the time, on tape!), he claims that he was joking.
He's a joke.
