Well... I'd call having Robert Kirkman sign it a "customization".. Clay signed it too, obviously.
Kirkman's line was a little fumed.. Clay and I cut to the front of it (it was HUGE), Robert came over, shook my hand (I told him I LOVE his Walking Dead series, and he thanked me.. haha), and he signed next to Clay's sig. The camaraderie that people in that industry share is awesome (I'm sure there's some "bad seeds" also, though.) I now need to pick up his Invincible series, all I hear is good things about it.. Clay had Walking Dead "mini-statues" also, but Invincible was GORGEOUS.. had to have it. Plus, it was the last one (he only brought two.. we saw him first thing around 11 am).
Lots of great artists and writers there today.. had some really good conversations and got some nice stuff... tomorrow's thankfully not going to prove AS expensive, either.
But I will be getting a couple sketches.
But yeah, it's nice to just let people know you appreciate their talent.
