So my Total Recall Synth arrived today. One arm broken (at the shoulder) but it was literally the socket joint so an easy and invisble fix.

That aside, I really dig it. It's definitely a factory paint job. There's nothing horribly wrong with it at all, but the painting of the small joins and seams (of which there are many) is just not as defined as it could be. There are tiny little bits of overspray here and there but they are only noticable right up close.

Also the painted white centre piece on the helmet isn't completely symetrical (which I suspect it should be).

But it is pretty damn cool. I love the design and the pose (has a real 'standing sentry' look about it).

So, could I recommend it . . . hmmm. I'd say this one is an LCS buy. See it in person and decide for yourself as the factory paint finish could be better and might put a few people off.

Crappy iPhone pics don't help much, but it is pretty cool.

Thanks Travis. I have it set up on my desk at work now and it looks very cool. I might be overly harsh on the factory paint, but then it's a pretty tough crowd here

Pics look great Nidgit. Thanks for posting them. I see what you mean about the paint apps but overall the piece looks pretty darn good with lots of detail. Congrats on the pick up.

Are you planning to get the exclusive all black commander with an ES of 100 as a companion piece? It would be a pretty sweet looking set up imo.

Thanks mate. I still have it standing on my desktop and TBH, the more I look at it the more I love it.

Don't think I'd get the black one. I've only seen pics, but I much prefer the look of the white. Could be tempted to get a 2nd white one though

Sometimes pieces do have a tendency to be more appreciated over time. I have been in the same boat myself in the past.

Not getting the EX is understandable since you can't see it in person. Two regs would look pretty sweet in a display as well.

Just picked up the white version. Its a nice piece overall. Black version is on the way
