for real man, i get the hate for the bayformers but despite how you may feel about the designs it was still cool as hell watching optimus transform while driving and tear bonecrusher to pieces. i got chills the first time i watched the movie and watched blackout transform with the iconic sound - awesome stuff

The TF movies are mindless popcorn movies and there’s nothing wrong with that. I also do not fault anyone who bashes them. I can give ROTF a pass due to the writers strike and Last Knight was a continuity mess but I enjoyed 1, 3 and 4. I’m very fond to the Megatron designs. They’re my reason for starting statue collecting. The movies singlehandedly reinvigorated the franchise and reintroduced it to a younger generation. I prefer old school TF’s so if the movies got youngsters into the original material I’m all for that. Also P1 started their business with Bayformers. Batman may be their hot thing but ROTF Megatron got them started.

Michael Bay's TF movies aren't the greatest (although I did think the first one was solid), but some of the P1 TF statues are a work of art. Blackout looks absolutely amazing.

The opening scene in the first Transformers movie where Blackout destroys the military base was the best part of the Bayformer movies [hearing the iconic transforming noise was the icing on the cake.]

Oof! I don't think I have enough nostalgic attachment to justify the most expensive piece in my collection, by $1K more than the second most expensive piece, being Blackout.

I love TF but can't afford them. But this one...good lord. Blackout is my favorite design and i feel so tempted. Thank god Long Haul doesn't have a statue cause that's another tempting one.
