Well, I've never pulled the trigger on the Bowen, so maybe they are...

EDIT: Just took a look at the Bowen again, as I couldn't remember the cod piece - and he doesn't have one there, just speedo. And the "A" is a little less conspicuous than it sometimes is portrayed... so I'm not sure why I haven't picked it up!

Anyway, curious how XM handle them here.

Just an extra covering over the 'junk'. The SS statue has a cod piece.

Oh that's funny, I never noticed it! I don't think that's a terribly common look for statues in general. We're probably safe here.

Edit: Although, I recall XM's first go at Black Bolt had his junk outlined in silver , if memory serves

And the final product decided to forego junk altogether.

You are not wrong. Still a glorious piece overall, but yeah, I hate it when they do that to male characters.

Even more interested to see this now after thinking about it. Really hope it wows me. I lean toward the simplistic Apoc as I said, so this has to be something special to overcome that prohibitive 'XM currency exchange + shipping' barrier.

I've only bought four XM and just have two, as they've got to be near perfect to keep, at their prices.

Yeah I haven't bought anything from them since Storm, so this will definitely have to wow me, since he will cost a mint to buy AND ship.

Honestly not bad from a sculpting perspective but I just prefer classic Apocalypse. Looks like I’ll be sticking with this guy:



And even on this one I wish they went with the classic color scheme instead of the Ariel Olivetti grey color scheme.


The best thing anybody can do is start with classic blue on blue costume Apoc and then update with details, as opposed to just making up their own designs.
