Because of the eyes being closed, this statue is better to suited if you have Yoda statues in your collection. I would not consider this a center piece based on that alone. Nevertheless, this is an incredible work of art, both in vision and execution!

I have the 1:1 Gentle Giant Yoda and thats from the prequels so I'd consider this as its a great OT representation but I honestly think this will cost north of 1K maybe even 1.5K which would put it well out of my range/self imposed spending limit.

I really dont think this will be over 1k.

however - Im not sure Im getting this - OT Yoda is my favorite character but I dont really like the pose of this - eyes totaly closed and head tilted back would be the best IMHO

btw hellboy - if you'ld ever decide to sell that Yoda - let me know - Ive been searching for that piece for ages....

If the day ever comes I'll certainly let you know Josh. Its one of those pieces I don't ever see myself parting with though but never say never.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

If you want a real representation on 1:1 size Yoda check out Cyberman's Yoda puppet, the most accurate Yoda out there. He is making a run soon, and that will be the ULTIMATE Yoda to have.

Some update news about the yoda from attakus:

Yoda using the Force

---------------------------------------------------------------

Film : Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back

---------------------------------------------------------------

Attakus continues its celebration of George Lucas’ universe with the most popular Jedi Master in the galaxy in a new prestige format!

Remember your amazement the first time you saw Yoda in “The Empire Strikes-back”? Re-experience this excitement at home with this unique piece of art: a limited edition 21.26’’ tall Yoda using the Force on the swamp planet of Dagobah!!

This cold cast resin Prestige Statue is highly detailed, beautifully textured and portrays the revered Jedi Master leaning against a tree-trunk at a very intense yet serene moment, perfectly captured by our workshop.

This hand painted and hand crafted tour de force is already a legendary statue in the Attakus’ line of Star Wars collectibles and will be the centerpiece of your collection. Scheduled to ship at the end of 2011.
