For anyone who has sent back something for a replacement, if the replacement comes broke, does sideshow help out with it again or are you screwed? I?ve only sent back one thing before and it came back good, but this is a big, fragile piece and I?m scared something else will come back broke (like the hair).
I think it is refund only after a replacement is sent and that has issues also. I wish they would let you keep the original and use its parts if you need to, then ship what you don't need back.

I had their Flash premium format and sent one back with an issue. The replacement also had an issue and they sent me ANOTHER replacement. Good customer service but still a hassle.

After the long wait and even longer Eco Shipping from Prime 1, she's finally Home. My 1/3 Scale Trinity is finish and I'm happy with how Wonder Woman turned out.

Mine didn't have the exposed scalp, I'm assuming Prime 1 fixed the later batches.

Congratulations on Wonder Woman. The Trinity looks great.

I've always liked Superman. I think this is one of the best Superman statues out there.

Kinda forgot about this thread, but I got my Wonder Woman back a couple weeks after my last post and it was all in one piece. Yeah sideshow! This and red Sonja are incredible together.

Hi everyone,

After years of consideration, hesitation etc... I finally pulled the trigger on the Bonus Exclusive (I got #068/800) a couple weekends ago -- purchasing it and picking it up from a fellow local collector (still sealed)!

In short, this piece is spectacular and I am so glad I added her to my collection. Now, to find the SPACE!

Now, a little backstory and request from fellow collectors that own this piece - thanks for reading on:

As such a low edition number, I was fully expecting to have to resolve the hair issue as so many others have reported. But, to my surprise the peg and magnetic key were present in mine! Again mine is Bonus Exclusive #068/800.

Once of the reasons for my hesitation and additional consideration of getting her, were because I had thoroughly researched this by following this thread, and other forums/groups, and watching all available review videos in order to track which edition numbers did and did not have the main hair piece fitment problem.

Not all owners that commented in this thread or posted review videos actually shared their edition number, so of course I could not track those cases.

But I did document the edition numbers from all the video reviews I watched that actually showed the base or specifically mentioned what number (and version) they were showing, which is most appreciated:

Bonus Exclusive:
Collector Edition:
This makes me think that -- instead of fixing it for later batches -- it was actually designed that way and perhaps a couple steps were actually missed during a specific period of production.

REQUEST: Anyone that owns this piece, please comment here with your version (Collector, Exclusive or Bonus Exclusive), Edition # and hair situation (with peg or without). I would really appreciate being to track this even further. (I checked and triple-checked this thread and don't think anyone said what # their statue was when showing photos or discussing the hair issue.)

Also, please enjoy my newest full Featured Exhibit which is now live on ExperienceTheWonder.com with over 80 studio photos of my statue showing the assembly, all variations and turnarounds plus packaging, close-ups information and detailed "in hand" measurements of each of the separate pieces:

Just for fun, I also made this frame animation GIF of my photo shoot as well:

Hope to hear back from fellow forum members and owners of this spectacular piece so we can further track and perhaps trend the QC issue with the main hair piece to specific batches.

Thanks in advance!

I had to get a replacement on mine as the hair was shattered due to no packing material. I figured I'd get new hair, and I got a whole new Diana body. Why? The new hair had a different keying mechanism to more securely place into the head. So now I have a 1:3 bald Diana in storage.

Thanks so much! I am glad you like my coverage of the statue. It was a great experience capturing everything so intricately!

I am sorry you had to go through that experience. But thanks for sharing the info!

A few questions:
  • What version and edition # is yours?
  • Also, I assume your original broken one was magnetic key only (no peg) for the main hair piece?
  • And the version they sent you as a replacement had both peg and magnetic key under the main hair piece; and her head would have ad the extra drilled peg hole plus the magnetic key while your original did not have both?

Please confirm or clarify!

The correct hair design with the peg and key also requires the Wonder Woman body (head) to have the corresponding peg hole plus the magnetic key to fit properly. So, they probably tested the new hair with a new body before sending to you to be sure they were a fitment match.

Does the bald Diana need a new home, by chance? Please PM me!
