so see the new rule would actually change being the time that a person was able to get online it could be 17 hrs between times thus they would Loose a guess as then they would have to wait another 12 hrs to make a guess again. so then it ends up not actually being a guess every 12 hrs unless you guess exactly at the same time every 12 hrs. thats why I thought that long as you guesses after the time that you made your first guess in the game you were locked in with 2 guesses per 24hr period.


the new rule can limit some peoples ability to only 1 guess per 24 hr period depending on their schedule. where the original where you could gues once every 12 hrs after your initial guess time allowed people to guess once every 12 hrs no matter what their schedule.


example

I make a guess now at 11:25 pm I am not able to guess again till 11:25 am well say I cant come back online till 8pm tomorrow night I make my guess then at 8pm then I cant make another guess till 8am the next day thats actually only 1 guess in a 24 hr period.

My exact thoughts. I work two jobs and am not in front of the computer at my second job, so my guess will be delayed (unless I can sneak away and submit it from my phone). This delay pushes the time back further and further. I still don't see what the problem was originally, but that's the way it goes.

Nah.. there's probably a good 50 to 60 that are debating the timing issue and the rules of "one guess every 12 hours" or "a guess 12 hours after your last guess". See.. there is a difference in wording.

That was eerily close.. time wise and guess one. I would surely think one of those would have been correct. It would have been worse if we both had the same and "correct" answer and you missed it by a minute.

I'm relieved it wasn't a duplicate... another one that I can mark off.
