Well, here's my story on Amber. I POd her from Most Wanted October of last year. When the Babydoll fiasco happened, I thought I better PO one from a second place to be safe, so I did with Big Bad Toy Store.

Then, a few days ago I get an e-mail from BBTS saying they are being shorted 3 Amber statues, and I am third from the bottom of the list, so I'm not guaranteed one unless they get a cancellation. Most Wanted still can't confirm anything.

So, I POd a third one from Entertainment Earth. I will be keeping whichever one notifies me they have Amber first.

That's just all kinds of wrong. There should be no reason for any retailer's order to be shorted on this piece with 1300 ES. If GG pulls the same crap they did with BD and pulls a bunch of retailer orders on Amber and as a result I don't get mine, I will write them a note detaiiing my frustration and disgust and never buy their products again. That I can guarantee.

Yeah, it's incredibly frustrating to go through this much drama for a statue, let alone Amber who has ES of 1,300 compared to Babydoll's 500.

I thought I would be fine, no problems. But with BBTS's e-mail, the drama is already starting for me with Amber.

I guess all we can do at this point NorthernLad is hope for the best. I am thinking that Entertainment Earth might be a safe bet since they carry a lot of GG exclusives and might have a special relationship with GG which might increase the chances of getting their orders filled.

Yeah, I'm hoping things go well. EE is also located in California, so they will probably get their shipment before BBTS (Wisconsin) and Most Wanted (Indiana).

ORDER DIRECT!!!

It saves a lot of drama, hemming & hawing and worrying. It's just not worth ordering from an etailer to save $20 or so... and least, not to me.
