Usually I'm not a fan of Ford's antics and lack of support for the roles that made him famous but good for him leveraging Indy 5 into development.
Cracks me up how the studio views the Indy franchise though. How is Indy 5 a risk at all? KotKS may not have been universally loved but it was FAR from being unsuccessful as it clocked in well over 4X it's production budget worldwide. Most studios would kill for a franchise like that with it's built in audience.

I hope Shia isn't in the next Indy and that Jason Statham never makes it into any SW film.

i dont care how long it takes them as long as they get it right. and having Lawrence Kasdan helping out is a very good thing. if they make the date great. if not, its not going to bother me.

I had no problem with him myself, or the film for that matter. Well, except for that monkey scene.

That was my only issue with that film, the ridiculous Tarzan monkey vine swinging scene.

Yeah, it was cringe worthy.
I found zero validity in the other complaints though. KotKS is a lot like the SW Prequels in the sense that it has a lot of the same attributes as it's predecessors but fans think because it's new and they're older the films should have grown up with them for some strange reason. Sorry but the nuclear fridge scene is no more far fetched than the Ark in Raiders, the raft parachute in ToD, or the Knight in the cave from Last Crusade.

My thoughts exactly, that one scene aside it's no worse than any of the other sequels. I'd enjoy seeing another one, hopefully we get one.
