Early shots and screens from the Bond set aren't being welcomed with cheers. The Indy book packaging is more nostalgic too. Maybe I'll go with singles for the movies I really want until a true collectors set comes out. The box set is fluctuating in prices as well.

I hate box sets myself. Especially when they're obtuse like the Bond 50 set and don't fit into my shelving system. Going with the individual releases was a no-brainer for me once they were announced as store exclusives as I own all of them but the 9 unreleased films.

Some people call him "Harry". I prefer Harrison.

Personally, I think he's been losing his marbles ever since he first courted Flockhart.

Picked up my Indy set at Best Buy for $60, had a $5 off coupon.

I hope everyone here who wanted Night of the Living Dead 1990 pre-ordered it. Because it's sold out now. Kind of surprising.

I'm not surprised at all. The Horror genre has a strong following, Zombie films in particular. When you think about it 3000 copies worldwide really isn't that much. Plus with the recent success of TT's Fright Night people know they can't wait. If you want it fork over the $30 and buy it or pay more later.

BTW I ordered 3 copies.

I didn't think it would go that fast. I should have picked up an extra few copies. They aren't charging cards now and I can already see copies going for $100 on this one. I haven't seen the original or remake of Fright Night. I did see a short thing on Fear.net a while back summarizing Fright Night. The movie didn't look that good. Night of the Living Dead 1990 on the other hand is great. If it looks as good or hopefully better than the HD broadcast version a saw a year or so ago. I'll be a happy camper.

You should give the original Fright Night a chance. It's a great vampire film. Sold story, great performances with a nice touch of humor and a Rear Window Hitchcockian feel to it. There is a reason it has a bit of a cult following.

Avoid the remake though. Total meh... didn't care for it at all.

Really? I actually enjoyed it. I didn't love it like the original, but I thought it was pretty good as far as remakes go.

I'm not surprised about NOTLD either. As Scott said, horror sells, especially titles with cult followings. I can't wait to see what TT get their hands on next. I had been seeing the numbers go down on this one and kept meaning to post about it, but forgot. Glad I got mine, should have picked up a few extra.
