Well, what can i say?

I passed on this piece. I am more than happy, super happy in fact with the XM Studios piece, which looks amazing.

Maybe Sideshow will pull a Psylocke stunt, and offer the original (proto) portrait further down the line.
I?m not so sure they change it. The problem with ssc pics is the lighting and photoshop they use to enhance the pics. I?ll probably get this in 2 months or so.

The sculpt didn't change. It's just the paint that is making the difference. As I said the eyebrows are a little lighter and a little less angled and the lips are painted lighter in color and thinner. It looks like the same woman but with a 10 year difference in age. I personally prefer the more mature proto look, but the production isn't bad at all.

It?s her mouth I notice right away. Lips are way less full and vibrant There are also more of the teeth showing.

Also is her head at a different angle? She seems to be looking more straight on.

Concur. The portrait sculpt didn't change. Just the lighting and/or paint is different from the proto.

The sculpt definitely changed.
The head on the Proto was tilted forward more and looks to have a slight difference in eye shape and shade. And her right hand is down and the elbow bent more.

It could be the angel of the photos, but it looks like the position of her head did change. In hand pics will help us determine that. I am curious to see if her mouth is as different as I believe it to be.

I prefer the prototype. I have this on pre-order, so hoping for the best.

Did they put on the right hand the wrong way on the production piece?
