This pic looks like it came from some newer version of Masters of the Universe. I only ride for the old school version. Just look at Evil Lyn. This is how she looks in the old school version.

Skeletor's obviously inspired by the usual personification of a hooded "Death". Yes he has a body but likely more for the practicality of toy production back then. It took a while before they went full ScareGlow.
