I'm still waiting for XM to do their first female portrait with proper teeth. Colossus, Thanos, and Doc Oc all have great dentists.

Previous teasers or full on advertisements for Marvel stuff based on movies have had the movie’s logo in the teaser somewhere. Not the case every single time, but usually.





Avengers logo way small down there in the right corner.


If this PF was from an Avengers movie, Civil War or WandaVision it would have said “Scarlet Witch” and had the specific movie/TV logo on it. Probably. So I’m thinking this is comic.

Also the font they used is way closer to the comic font. They probably just used a similar font and typed the name over the stock photo as opposed to having and using an actual Scarlet Witch logo provided from Marvel.

No doubt SS is exploiting the premiering of WandaVision, which will culminate with anticipation for the second Dr Strange movie, as a tie-in opportunity.

I don't think it matters as much if it's comic based (modern costume would help though) or based on Olsen. A bad likeness will limit sales whereas an attractive comic-based version will still feed off the anticipation for where this character's story is going (I expect she'll be a big part of the next cycle of films beyond the second DS film).

The statue itself will probably be ready to ship around the time DS is close to release. As long as it's a half-way decent design with an attractive portrait, and WV leaves a hell of a sense of foreboding or unresolved issues for this character's arc in the MCU, they could probably fully mop up sales soon after it ships if not prior.

FWIW I loved the recent Koto statue- but the price for the scale seemed an especially poor value proposition.

I'm anticipating being done with SSC once Daredevil finally arrives, but they could always pull me back in with an attractive design for this property here.

Sideshow still makes MCU Iron Mans but Iron Studios seems to make the other characters. I’d buy MCU Black Panther and Spidey from Sideshow. That’s about it.

The XM Emma is the best female portrait that I have ever seen so they are hit and miss. I'm just excited for a new Scarlet Witch!
