Wonder what the opportunity cost is between paying in full in 2020 (to save $25) versus investing that $585 for the next 2-years (say stock or a CD/money market account) and pay for it in 2022 - which route comes out ahead.

No idea how many there will be, but I assume a 1/4 deal with Sideshow will have a decent number. Keep in mind their 1/6 have smaller edition sizes than most Premium Format exclusives.
They did make a joke about the servers on twitter a couple days ago, so they knew this would happen.

Is there any recourse or protection for a refund (for payment plans or paying in full upfront) in a worst case scenario where Tweeterhead goes out of business 2-years from now?
I'm still scarred from the Chronicle Collectibles bankruptcy experience - luckily some people got their money back but I believe most who paid direct to Chronicle still can't get refunds, for items they paid for 1-2 years in advance.

I saw "November July 2022", so I read that as November 2021 to July 2022. Let's hope it's not what you said!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

If I understand the options right, you can either pay in full or do installments which will be complete 9 months from when you plunk the deposit.
So maybe it's more of a gamble for whether those 9 months of graduated returns are worth the risk of this selling out before you commit.

That's a good question, but honestly this statue looks like it will inject a ton of cash into the company.
