I still think it isn't horrible, but I think my main beef right now is that it seems the PF is meant to be displayed at an angle for the best viewing possible.
I hope that Bel gets to do a full 1/4th Batman, I've considered the last PF variant cause I love the base. But part of me feels like maybe I should wait another year or so if they do a Batman Maquette that will be on the level of the P1 Batcave.

I've been considering this for some time, now I'm not. So Batman is super shaded, yet the gargoyle has none at all? And what's up with the big black shadow on his forehead? Glad that'll save me some money!

The bust is the best Batman produced by Sideshow. They need to produce it in full 1/4 scale.

Comparing the prototype photos to the production pics, the prototype photos are really dark. But the shading does appear to be harsher on the production.
Seeing the blue as it probably should’ve been seen before, along with the darker shading is what gives it the less than appealing look.

That's a night and day difference in paint jobs. Huge fail on the production piece IMO.

And I too was one of those that liked this piece quite a bit.

I guess I can pretend that Batman stepped on top of that gargoyle after getting caught in a heavy rain.

This one definitely went to one of the lower quality factories.
