What I still don't get about this statue is the upcoming DST Goblyn Queen statue seems identical in pose but is significantly smaller.
Is this true or did they screw up the size in the descriptions for them?

The Goblin Queen statue is only similar in the arm pose from what I can tell. Everything else is pretty different right down to her hands. I think aside from the arm similarity the Globing Queen is a different sculpt altogether and not a conversion of the Jean Grey statue.

Too bad, the Goblin Queen would be cool to display alongside the Phoenix but not if they really are different scales.
Seems a poor choice, but I guess they wanted to keep the final price down seeing as how she also comes with two companion demons.

I think both of these pieces look amazing, and I plan on getting both. The size difference doesn't bother me too much, I'll display them seperately if I have to.

When you display most of the Diamond Select stuff anywhere near any Bowen or HH pieces, you can just see the quality difference.
It just has the look like the Diamond Select pieces were done by 4 year olds.
Too me, this Phoenix looks like that. Sorry.

Considering DST has a record of being hit-and-miss, I can see where you're coming from...

...but you lost me with your gratuitous hyperbole. It gets old reading these kinds of comments over and over in this forum.

I like this one more than the bowen phoenix. Sam Greenwell sculpts are like gold in my eyes. Actually going to sell my bowen phoenix because of this one. Can't wait for it. I too also wish the Goblin Queen was same size as this, would have been great if that was the 2nd version of this as DST Premiere Collection statues usually have.
