a truly epic galactus would have sold really well but the comparison expands beyond galactus or any one character. the fact is SS is capable of delivering incredible definitive versions of characters, sometimes they nail it (green arrow) and sometimes they whiff (deathstroke). ahsoka is someone fans have been asking for for a long time now, i would think most anyone familiar with SS' history is at least slightly hesitant on getting too excited before any kind of reveal

He is one of the greatest Marvel villains.

Still happy I kept the OG Maquette and LSB. Awesome piece.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

The main reason Sideshow has so many misses is because they produce in a bubble. They don't take customer feedback. Nobody knows until it's mostly set in polystone and off to the printers.

Make it, and they will come. I guess they've made a successful business model that way and maybe customers don't really know what they want anyway. Customers usually need to watch youtube or read forums to find out what to buy.

This is television, that's all it is. It's nothing to do with people, it's to do with ratings! For fifty years, we've told them what to eat, what to drink, what to wear...

Saw the schedule and it is all a pass for me. Looks like more of the same that they have for every "event". I'll see the pics of any new statues on this forum anyway (which is all I'm really interested in).

Customers know what they want. Problem is, they all don't want the same thing.

Exactly.

Ever look at those wish list threads? All over the map... from characters to costumes.

I'd also love to know how many of those people that say "would be an instant PO" ACTUALLY cough up the money when given the chance.

Always makes me think of the Never Nudes from Arrested Development.

Ask for what you want but be realistic. Perez-era Zatanna? Death of Superman Superboy? Toad from X-Men? Not looking good, people.

I've got my own unrealistic wishlist like the non-Batman 90's Azrael or a Mr. Zsasz, but they probably have a very limited audience of actual purchasers so I'm not demanding anything or leading a campaign. Damn shame the New Gods movie cancellation put Mister Miracle a little further out of reach.
