Just got home after an amazing weekend. It was cool to finally meet so many of these guys that I've been talking with for years.

Here's a breaking story, and I should have more in the next few days.

I really don't understand what happened to Starnes, he didn't even try to engage he just jumped on his bike and backpaddled the whole match, I think he felt and knew that he couldnt handle the heat that Quarry was bringing to him, he commited carreer suicide...another one I was dissappointed with was Luters conditioning you could tell he had the skills to bring Franklin down and work submissions and a ground game on him, he could have given Franklin a harder run, nothing worse than unfulfilled potential, and to Franklins credit he had some improved takedown defense and some good escapes.

Finally got around to watching it last and while I enjoyed the Serra vs GSP fight, I was very disappointed with the Quarry/Starnes and Luter/Franklin matches.

It's funny, actually it's kind of sad, my lady and I both said Starnes would never fight in the UFC again. We said Danna White must be dropping F-bombs nonstop watching that display. He doesn't have the record or credentials to get away with a performance like that. I'm curious to hear his story, there must have been something very wrong for things to go down like that.

I saw this coming as soon as the fight was over with.
It's the right desicion. You can't have a fighter stinking up the joint when ppl are paying money to watch them.

finally saw this fight and at first i thought people might have been hard on him by saying he was running but he was really running! i thought he was a game fighter when he was on TUF 3. maybe he just didnt want to trade with Quarry?
