Tweeterhead makes cool pieces, they want to be major players in the industry but they constantly make questionable moves like a guy selling something out of his basement.
They listed this "REGULAR" Edition Superman on their site for no time art all. There was never a regular edition. These were returns, sub par pieces they decided to sell to us any a discount as the "REGULAR" edition. They should've just called them B-Stock, and been honest instead of marketing it as other edition that never really existed.
i wanted one at $200, it's a sharp looking piece and for $200 it's hard to beat. but aside from not scoring the deal, im happy i didn't get one. Honestly, i'm a tired of the Superman on tippy toes pose meant to look like he's hovering gracefully in mid air but he's actually clearly suspended by the base.

I bought one of those discounted pieces and he is absolutely perfect. No defect at all with the paint or sculpt. Love it.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I finally got around to opening my reg edition that I got for that crazy sale price. This piece is just so good, I wanted a second one (maybe to mod, maybe not, we'll see.... *cough* Justice Lord Supes *cough cough* I checked the hairline of both portraits. For 1/6 scale, I think it looks great, even blown up. If that's me settling, so be it... my statue collecting adventure will be much more enjoyable, I suspect

Justice Lords Supes would be cool for this sculpt. I keep imagining the Eradicator when I look at mine.

Just got my Tweeterhead Superman maquette. Although it is categorized as 1/6, it is bigger than my 1/6 Hot Toys figures. I feel this is an underrated piece. It is very awesome to me. As I look closer, there are various subtle tones/shades and shadowing on the skin, hair, and costume. I was quite surprised by how heavy the base is. Absolutely love what Tweeterhead has been making lately.

I was very happy with my Super Powers Superman but I was able to get the 2.0 version at a good price so I did and am very happy I jumped at it. This is a fantastic statue. This statue blends in so well with the Super Powers line and is such a fantastic portrait of Superman.

Looks great! May I ask where you found it at the good price?
I'm becoming more interested.

It was an Ebay auction
I was the only bidder and got it for less than
$300 (and that was with shipping and tax)
