No worries, I suppose I would have as well until I started looking a little closer at some pics.
I love the beauty in this piece and am so very happy with it.
Ideally, I would love to have this shelf showing the original team and Prox X in the center......
I am always on the lookout for a decent deal on the XM classic wheelchair Prof. X.
He would go in the center.
Cyclops to the one side, Jean on the other side, then blue furry Beast on the outer side and Iceman on the other side and Angel elevated in the back.
I will make this happen.
LOL!!!!!!

Details varied just like they do in the image below, sometimes even issue to issue, but I would love to recolor Jean with my personal comic preferences? actual comic bright red hair, body suit more orange or beige than yellow, arm patches blue, and slightly different color on the leg patches or do them in blue.

I think you are absoultely correct!!!!!
I think that is my one point of contention with the piece as well as even with my SS Dark Phoenix PF.......
it's the hair COLOR!!!! I truly wish that they would have made her hair MORE reddish on this PF as well as with the Dark Phoenix.
If I had my way, I would have it repainted as well.
Event the SS Black Widow PF CE was done with a more auburn reddish hair. Would have been nice to see a more reddish hair on this one as well as opposed to just the flat fore-headed EX portrait.

I could get behind a more peachy orange suit. I don't know why SS always fears making her hair too red - it just ends up brown. Though I don't think I'd go as far as Peedi would like LOL.

Same thing with not understanding why a g-string can't just be a g-string. It should not be offensive it is comic accurate. LOL!

The Jim Lee Jean by Bowen? It's got the thigh panels and upper arm accurate.... but still just yellow overall suit, and hair is not very red.

If I recall correctly, the Bowen Designs Jean was sculpted by the same sculptor who sculpted the recent Sideshow Jean is that not correct.?
In any event, not sure why Sideshow opted to go with a slight variation on her costume when it comes to the leg pads, head piece emblem and upper arm/bicep covers...?
The more I look at it and the more I look at the ones that were done more accurately and the more I look at my comic covers I have in my man cave---the more I really want to have my recent SS Jean PF painted.
I think an iridescent gold on the leg pads would be nice for contrast. The iridescent would look nice bouncing off of my new Rogue who also has the same treatment on her suit......
