Dont know much about Blitzway but it looks surprisingly good to me, do they usually have this lvl of quality or did they hit a homerun?

For the most part, Blitzway tend to deliver high quality results.
I thought the production piece of Sharon Stone, as great as it turned out,
did not quite match the might set by the prototype portrait paint app.
It still turned out pretty decent, not that i picked it up.

I think Blitzway's Rocky II piece is the best Rocky Balboa made.

I have to agree.
Also, i have always been impressed by the PCS Stallone head sculpt for Rambo, sculpted by Jerry Macaluso
As far as i am aware, the PCS head sculpt is polystone, where as Blitzway tend to use PVC, which makes the PCS head-sculpt all the more impressive.

Blitzway possibly made the best looking Scarface piece. I am assuming that piece also featured a PVC head-sculpt.

When it comes to Alita collectibles there are a various options..

Alita: Battle Angel 1/1 Scale Bust by Queen Studios
Alita: Battle Angel 1/4 Scale Statue by Prime 1 Studio
Alita: Battle Angel 1/4 Scale "Doll" Statue by Queen Studios
Alita: Battle Angel 1/4 Scale Berserker Motorball Tryout by Prime 1 Studio

They all cost a packet and take up a fair amount of real estate.
There is another option for the collector who does not want to indulge in any of the above mentioned, and that is..

Alita: Battle Angel 1/6 Scale Alita MMS520 by Hot Toys

Hot Toys Alita: Battle Angel - Alita MMS520

Someway, somehow i knew i wanted an Alita: Battle Angel in the collection. I very nearly pre_ordered the Prime 1
1/4 statue, and passed for various reasons. The Queen Studio's 1/1 bust was never an option. Prime 1 Studio's 2nd
offering, Berserker Motorball Tryout, ticked all the right boxes bar two. Too large, too expensive.

In the end, the figure by Hot Toys was the ideal solution. Sold Out at Sideshow Collectibles, over priced on Ebay.
Toys Wonderland saved the day, as they have/had a few remaining in stock for a normal price.

The figure arrived today. I took some shots. Alita amounts to amazing 1/6th scale piece. The base looks rather good.
The plan is to display Alita with all her silver and purple cyborg elements on display. Hot Toys do include the option
to cover up Alita's cyborg elements with a black outfit and boots.

Other than the head rotating, there appears to be little (none) in the way of neck articulation.
I think it is possible to move Alita's eyes, but i have yet to look into that.

JND Studios - Suicide Squad Harley Quinn 1/3 scale
..arrived yesterday

My 1st JND Studios piece..
I never thought i would pick up a JND piece, but me being me, likes to try and add atleast one piece from each of the statue companies.

Out of the Box, first thoughts center on the portrait. The real hair, the silicone skin, the glass eye's, the teeth.
It feels very different to all my other statues.

Harley Quinn looks amazing!
Do i see Margot Robbie? ..probably not.

The glass eye's really do look on point.

I own both statues and figures. The JND statue to some degree feel's like a large non posable figure.
It probably has something to do with the real-hair, fabric jacket etc.

The fishnets look great. The seams, located on the inside of the leg look fine.

I did not add the baseball bat, as the silicone had simply lacks what it takes to hold onto the bat, which is quite heavy.
Once i have a permanent spot for Harley, not to mention a custom dust cover, i will find a way to make use of the baseball bat.

Likewise, i left both the pistol and an earing in the box until i display the piece in the future.

Based on photo's i have seen of the JND Golden Armor Wonder Woman, i get the impression Harley's hair has been punched in to a higher standard.
It might have something to do with the light color hair that gives that impression?

-

Some nitpicks:

The baseball bat is not as straight as a baseball bat should be.
The bat i have is banana shaped? ..are they all like that?

Harley's right hand looks large. Maybe the glove she is wearing makes her hand look slightly oversized?

Harley's exposed stomach, the skin texture. The texture is there.
The texture should have been lowered (smoother)
I assume JND did not want the area to look smooth.

The maroon and gold art box is not wrapped in plastic, thus arrives looking slightly scuffed, as it is surround by pieces of polystyrene.

-

JND vs Prime 1

Comparing Harley's seems pointless, given the different media types used.

2 areas of both statues that can be compared to one another are the boots, leg tattoos.

The JND Harley features sharper looking leg tattoos. The Prime 1 features blurred looking tattoos.

The JND Harley features sharper looking boots. The laces look better defined.

Since my Prime 1 Harley is boxed up, i cannot compare stockings.

When it comes to portraits, compared to the JND Harley, the Prime 1 Harley has more attitude.

I will stop with the comparisons..
Both are keepers!

Every collection could use a little Alita in it, glad you're happy with yours.

JND did state everyone should receive theirs before the end of the year.

JND pieces do make a change from other pieces.
Even if i had the money, i am not so sure i would want to collect'em all.
Part of me regrets not picking up the JND Catwoman

100% agree!
I'm not so sold on Alita as to pick up a 1/4 scale.
I do really like the Alita: Berserker Motorball Tryout Diorama by Prime 1 Studio
