I like it. The only head I like is the yelling short haired head. But if that was the PF or XM I’d be great with that. It looks great but don’t think it will be hard for XM or SS to match or top it though.

Please XM don’t go overboard with redesigning this costume. Some textured areas and a few lines, fine, but keep the classic costume...particularly the red parts like the gloves, the boots, the red V shape over the black bodysuit...it all needs to be classic, don’t go making them gaudy armored pieces. Nightcrawler is muscular but he’s Spider-Man level quick and agile, he doesn’t need extra crap.

Unless it’s a sword.

This as a 1/4 statue would be perfect. Minimal lines added in, some very subtle texturing on the black, but the classic costume is preserved.

I would be cautious about wanting Nightcrawler to have the swords. Psylocke is stuck using them because that is all Marvel/Disney would allow them to use (supposedly). I certainly wouldn't want Nightcrawler to only have the option to be shown in his swashbuckler phase.

Sideshow’s Nightcrawler comiquette had it as a switch out. So it’s highly doable. And it’s easy to make a pose where it could be switched out with bare hands. It’s a matter of will XM do it or not.

I think these statue companies sometimes think way to hard when it comes to poses and what works. Yes, there’s the engineering of the piece as well. But engineering has also made leaps and bounds. Psylocke, Batman...shouldn’t be that hard. Neither should Nightcrawler, but we’ll see.

I'm glad Nightcrawler fans are finally gettig some love. Very interested to see how his fuzzy fur texture is handled by XM and others, but i suppose if he is all suit then there will not be much fuzzy to worry about

That being said, even the black shadow has A LOT going on and it would be nice if he were more upright.

So far, looks like their usual trope of overloading the base with a bunch of junk. But, I will wait and see full reveal before deciding either way.
