I'm about to turn 22, lol. There is some older stuff I love and some older stuff I don't like. I completely agree that 60's Marvel is full of nostalgia, which is why regardless of quality I'll always collect and read the older stuff.

Some are spread out too long, sure. But it's hard to tell a great story in 32 pages. There are one shots which can be great, but overall even the shortest stories these days usually run a minimum of four issues. To me, it's great reading a longer, deeper story as compared to every issue being something different. Recently, quality has declined. However 80s-2000s was great.

Amazing Spider-Man 3 is on my list, too. I have to pass on the DD Kirby Omnibus only because I own all the DD Marvel Masterworks but, damn, I'd love to start replacing them with these omnibuses.

To be fair, most comments I read in this section remind me of my grandfather

Depends on which companies you buy. There are comics that run longer with less ads.

I'm being trained to replace your generation.
Daredevil has arrived! The cover art is beautiful and it has a really nice size to it. I was expecting it to be thicker, but it's not as thin as it appears. They're not Marvel, but I have DC's 52 and Neil Gaiman's Sandman (both volumes) on the way. My next Marvel omnibus is going to either be Miller's DD Companion Omnibus or Brubaker's DD Omnibus.
