sorry for the bump, but I wanted to ask:
Where have you guys had the most success selling your art? I have about 15-20 commissions I'm looking to get rid of. I know I probably won't get what I paid for them, but it'll be good to clear some space and get more in line with my current themes. Should I go ebay? CAF? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I'd think, depending on the character, eBay may be your best bet. CGC boards are good for selling stuff. I'm about to open up my collection for sale and I've been updating my CAF galleries the last few weeks. That way, just copy/paste the link wherever. FB art groups are good too.

I've been on Chris' wait list for a Jim Lee style Magneto for about 4 years I do understand that it takes a lot of his blood, a lot of his sweat and a lot of my tears (From waiting) to happen haha. But yes, you (Erm, I mean Chris) is a splendid guy

I mostly sell on eBay. For higher end commissions or OA, I would think Comic Link is the way to go, as several friends have had some good success there. I'm pretty lazy with CAF postings, so I've never sold on there (although I have bought a few times). Just be careful with the eBay fees - you get charged 10% on the final price of the auction, plus 10% on the shipping charges, plus the PayPal fees, in addition to any shipping materials and the actual shipping costs.

I would start with your free outlets. CAF, CGC boards, FB groups, etc. List a price and see what happens. The more you sell without fees, the better. I would look at eBay with whatever you have left. You’ll get hit with some fees but you will get a lot of eyes on the auctions. If you have anything really stellar, you could consider Comic Link or Heritage but I would only consider that for high end blue chipper commission examples. Good luck!
