I've never ordered from Prime 1 directly but I am considering it for this one. The shipping doesn't seem as ridiculous as I thought it would be (of course that could change). The only thing I'm worried about is how Prime 1 handles any damages, which I think is a valid concern. I would likely order via Sideshow (depending on price, if they'll have the cape, etc.) but I'm not sure if they will be carrying it. I'd like to have all my options in front of me to make an informed decision but who knows when that will be....?

I’m not sure if it’s a bad idea or not as I’ve never ordered directly from them myself, but I’d be nervous as hell to order direct from P1. But that’s just me.

Yeah, the tax is killer in CA. Tacks on another $100+. Multiply that by all the statues/figures purchased, that's potentially thousands of dollars.

I might bite the bullet and buy direct from Prime 1.

But holding off a little longer to see if some out of state U.S. retailers carry the bonus cape version to save on the sales tax.
