I would be a 'fool of a took' if I did not order this.
A collector's edition is on preorder for me!

If Frodo was sitting in there writing, it would have been over the top! It's a nice piece otherwise.

To get an idea of the scale, here is a photo from Weta's latest update on the Bag End.
And $125 for the open edition is a great price for this piece of beauty.

Wow, that is pretty cool. But, also pretty pricey for an 11.8 inch wide environment. Might get it cheaper elsewhere, if possible.

Really?
Both Helms Deep and The Golden Hall were $125, Amon Hen, Weathertop and Bucklebury Ferry were $100 and finally The Mines of Moria was $200.
Pretty much all of those (apart from maybe the Mines of Moria) are equal to the open edition Bag End at $125. Yet we are now 8-9 years later. Sounds like pretty good value to me.
Then if you want all the interior, well, that's going to cost more, which is to be expected.

Yeah, the open edition one is pretty cheap. I would definitely be looking to score the collector's edition. Also, I didn't realize the huge difference between Zealand dollars and US dollars. It's pretty damn huge, so it's really not that bad of a deal...
NZD$354.67 = US$250.803
