I owned 2. Just recently upgraded to the 4G version after my 3G iPhone fell in the sink as I was washing the dishes

My first Android fell out of my shirt pocket and into a friend's toilet when I was installing a new pump in the sucker.

I felt like an @ss, since taking the phone out of my pocket and putting it in a pants pocket/counter/friend's cleavage would have taken mere seconds.

That rice trick doesn't always work.

I owned a Nano for a couple days but never used it because it wasn't compatible with my operating system at the time so I had to return it. I'd like to get another one eventually.

0...

I have no problem with I Pod as an MP3 player, what puts me off is the fact that you HAVE to manage your I Pod through that god awful I Tune system...

My sis accidentally cleared out her I Pod twice because I Tune crashed and she didn't have back up music files...

What puts me off from buying an IPOD or any other Apple product is that you're buying a very expensive product of which you know there's gonna be a new version 10 months later.

Like underdog said, happens with everything these days.

But with apple its not like you are buying a crap item. Get good customer service, best warranty out there, item that can last and good resell value if your item i well taken care of.
