Anime Statue Reviews

I'm looking for someone that collects these statues to post reviews on a regular basis. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thanks!

I collect some, but my deliveries are few and far between usually (thanks to BBTS pile of loot), but I'd be up for trying my hand at some reviews. I'm about 50/50 atm for statues/figures, and got a lot more on the way.

Could use some pointers on reviewing pieces though as I have never done it before.

Nice,

I don't know the first character but i really liked all grown up Ayanami Rei. Is Rei's black costume from the films or something ? i have never seen it before (and i haven't watched the films yet). Both of the statues look really cool.

Well the first one I will not mention since I wasn't aware of the character until I did a search, Oh well, but I really like the pose on her that's why I got her.

As for Rei in black, she is from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" where something happens to her and is now clone wearing a black plug suite, I think, but you can certainly look it up to make sure. The statue doesn't really look like her but, its the art work of Shunya Yama----a that is based on. Koto is one company that I love the most since they use a lot of his style as well. I cannot wait for Koto's wonder woman and super girl to be released.

I happen to like Anime figures as well. I have some but not many of them. They are just made so well from certain companies, like Freeing/Alter/some of "Embrace Japan"/Max Factory to name a few, I just wish that all of their statues were made of polystone or something along those lines instead of PVC

I prefer PVC, i don't buy stone statues anymore. Well, i don't buy any statues anymore is more like it... I don't have any place to put them anymore... The last statue i got was Gecco Guts ( from Berserk) PVC statue, and it has been 2 years or something ever since. And stone statues are too expensive and fragile, so hard to place back in the box because of this so i don't prefer stone.

She is pretty big in the 1/5 scale and didn't have time to remove all those plastic piece you'll see.

She has real net stockings.
Paint app is great
She is also a cast off, which I do not intend to take off
She comes with a gun and whip which can be interchange
The only thing I don't like is her seam in her hair. so noticeable without her hat.

I think this piece looks great.
