Never had the pleasure to meet him and thank him for his work, but I have only heard what a lovely human he was. May his family and the comic world find comfort in the legacy he has left behind.

Sad news. George Perez was one of the greats. He and John Byrne were my favorite artists growing up. RIP Mr. Perez.

Reading so much about George Perez and his work, especially my favorite Wonder Woman. I have the Art of Wonder Woman statue based on his art and really he is a great credit to the lasting impact of the character. Rest in peace.

A terrible loss for all his fans and family. The post on his page stated he passed peacefully and was not in pain which, for someone suffering from pancreatic cancer, is the best case scenario. I was lucky to have met him, shared laughs and stories, and had him sign my Avengers #141…his “first time,” as he put it. His art, along with that from Jack Kirby, Gene Colan, Steve Ditko and John Buscema defined my comic book loving experiences for nearly the last 60 years. His work comprises a vast majority of my lifelong comic book collection.
