It arrived that way today. It was new off ebay, but was only in a box with a few air bags to prevent it from sliding around, but not providing any protection.
It does look like I could glue it back together, but when you put the top half on, it isn't a snug fit and leans in the direction of the cape. Some good glue might stop that, but I'm not sure. For the price I paid, I'm asking for a new one instead (they have more available). If they give me a huge discount, I'd try and fix it, but doubt that will happen.
It's a shame though, because there are now other problems and the paint is really good. We'll see how it shakes out. Every once in a while S#$% happens.

I thought that too. Either it wasn't glued properly, or it was stored somewhere in extreme temps that messed it up. It did cause that big back pocket to break off at the tab and I'm not sure the bad packing job helped.
