Gem Mint stated he works for the electric company for fifteen years and makes decent money. That said, he has tended to sell portion of what he collects at gains such as older comic books. So there's a churn to what he collects rather than adding on and on. His YouTube channel also funds a lot of the hobby and he is gifted statues by companies.

It is hard to say other people's finances. How much debt they have, how much they put aside for retirement, etc.

Thank you Aug, I didn't see any of that so I was curious. I will say people that work for electric companies make really good money...I use to do the payroll.

It seems to work, though. Subs on my channel are pretty stagnant at just over 11,000, probably because I don’t do filler videos. I only upload content when I receive something new or there’s an issue in the hobby that I want to address.

nearmint is probably the only YouTuber I am subscribed to that I can trust to be honest and objective about his reviews. The constant filler videos everyone else puts out these days is just tiring and, quite frankly, annoying to me.
