And your art looks great! Only thing I would say is that on your Spider-man the shoulder/collarbone area looks awesome, but his right leg seems to have a lot of lines just for the sake of having lines.
thanks, i'll stop by michaels and see if they have any quill pens, are they expensive? and can i use the black ink i got from the dip pen for calligraphy as paint for brushing. i really really like how rich and black it is but not sure how it will react with the brush.

what usually happens when im inking the drawing is that i use a .35 mm pigmented liner (really like how dark it is and the other sizes doesnt give me that much control) for everything so when i have to make a big black fill, i end up making more white spaces cuz i don't feel like blackening the whole area. i'll try to be more aware of that on my next works.

Those pens are pretty cheap. I use the same india ink with the brush. It actually dries faster using a brush which I like. And yeah, it works much better for fills than trying to scribble it in. I like the variety of styles you're using!

stopped by michaels yesterday but unfortunately they didnt have any quill pens in stock (i dont know if the lady that works there's right but she told me it is the same as radiograph pens???) but i did bought some brushes. now i understand why you would suggest them. they are amazing. i've always thought brushes are just for painters but after trying them out on inking, im living a different world found out that the calligraphy ink works well with them so i was very happy about that.
im still really trying to find a definitive style that i will eventually concentrate on so i try many different ones to find out which ones i like best. for now, i just draw what i like in a style the way i see they will look good.
i would love to see some of your works!!!
