I?ve got this MAX series in separate HC volumes already. Never was a fan of Steve Dillon?s art but the stories are really good.

I can't wait to own Punisher Max by Jason Aaron and Steve Dillon. It is such a grail for me. I have every other Punisher Omnibus.

I like Steve Dillon's art. (RIP Good Sir) The Biggest complain which i hear about his art is he drew the same face with every character... That is a really unfair complain. I look at Jim Lee's art and his Punisher, Superman and Bruce Wayne have the same face or even legendary Neal Adams (RIP Good Sir) he drew Superman and Bruce Wayne with the same face etc. I believe the face Steve Dillon drew really suited Punisher. Punisher should have a rough face, he shouldn't be so handsome, he shouldn't have a baby face... lol That is why i like Steve Dillon on Punisher.

That's why I loved George Perez's art - even though his faces were very recognizable, he gave every character little details to make them look different, and it worked. You did feel every character was an individual person. See his late 90's Avengers run - he gave Thor a button nose and Hawkeye a broader nose and bigger lips, for instance.

Perez was a master! He became one of my favorite artists when I picked up Avengers #141 back in the ?70s.

Indeed! Great storytelling and the absolute best at fitting a gazillion characters into a single panel.

Perez was another Comics Legend. (RIP Good Sir)

His trade mark was to fit a million character in a splash page.
