Anyone have the Alex Ross MARTIAN MANHUNTER?
I haven't seen this in person and the photos of an actual statue I saw on eBay didn't look as good as the promo pics. Does anyone have this statue yet? Any opinions on it? In theory I want it...it's just that those photos kind of worried me. I think it was more the paint job/actual colors, though the camera could make it look more yellow-green than it really is.
I rarely get to see any of the statues locally, so it is scary buying some of them without seeing the statue itself in front of me.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I have it, too. It looks good with the other DCD FS statues. I'll try to take a pic when I get home and post it. I have it in a curio with my other DCD statues, so it might give you a good idea of how it looks with the others.

I see they painted his belt buckle red instead of gold. The gold in the promo pic looked nicer. I have seen it colored both ways, but prefer the gold. On the ATOM statue some folks weren't thrilled with the belt buckle. For such a simple paint job the version in the promo pic was better.

I have it and must say it does look good. Nice detail on the base. The character is fairly simple and the paint could have been better, but if you like the League, he is one you have to own.
He also seems to be squinting.

Thanks for the photos and feedback! I took a chance and got the Spectre statue off of eBay a while back. Man alive, that is a BEAUTY!! It was a tremendous bargain. Just a stunning piece!! That was a VERY pleasant (wonderful) surprise! One of my favorite comic statues!!!
