well people buy made up samurai versions of these characters that have no ties to actual comics or stories so im sure there will be interest if the sculpt is good

Sideshows ES is like 7000 for BWL and prime 1 has done a full line of these in 1/3 scale.

I know the vocal minority here aren't pleased with these reveals but there HAS to be a market for so many other companies to be on the bandwagon.

At least the characters we are seeing have rich comic backgrounds so we can enjoy them as a new version.

P1 hasn't announced what is the edition size of the other Dark Metal knight characters tho, that will be the biggest telling of how good the rest of the series sells.

But ya there has to be a market, if there is well cool, if the ES ends up being super small on all of them, then that will be a big waste. I think most people here just are confused why these are being rushed, while we still don't have a Nightwing, Two Face, Riddler, and Penguin statues.

I hear ya man, I'm frustrated that they haven't teased some tried and true characters I want too, most notably Nightcrawler. I'm not a DC collector but obviously I'd love for them to come out with these pieces. I know a lot of people want them and legit, the best case scenario is everyone being happy and able to complete their collection. Sideshow is the same way, tons of rogues missing but yet there's a 40th Batman coming in the works.

I get it. But everyone thinks these million dollar studios are dummies and I'm just saying, that's probably not the case. Very likely, there's a market for what they are doing but your right the ES will be telling. If they are all ES200, then they goofed. You can argue they did now, for at least not having a bit of a mix. Why not announce the metal line, instead of each and every character and put in more other brands? Honestly, there's very little to nothing I want from this entire "days of XM" event. I doubt I'll own any of them, maybe Jean but I already own Dark Phoenix and only collect one of any piece...

Nightcrawler was only recently approved to be made I think Dec/Jan. So we won't likely see teasers till late this year. Doubt they will have a prototype for SGCC, but who knows? Apocalypse maybe shown then, its the only recent X-Men theme statue i'm wanting to see.

I treat Dark Phoenix as its own character and Jean as another. But i'm happy with SS Jean, doubt i'll be interested in XM's. But I guess they thought dark metal line would be not as exciting as they could then break it down to more reveals to let you know which specific versions will be done. But yes i'll be more interested in seeing the end ES more than anything.

BWL is clearly popular but I'm not at all convinced that's going to trickle down to the Drowned or a $2500 diorama with kinda awful designs for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Again, someone must like them but I think that Superman is the worst thing Capullo has done. This is stretching pretty far from the only proven seller of a character.

And Prime 1 hasn't done a full line yet. They've produced a Merciless just as much as they've produced a Grail or Deadshot...

Keep looking out for there teases throughout the year, but likely the SGCC later in December will be massive.
