An original take on the Xenomorph, XM worked closely with Simon lee aka Spiderzero (world-renowned sculptor, concept designer and character artist) to co-create the concept design of Alien Hive-Warrior. Drawing inspiration from the original creation, this Alien concept brings to life the dark elegance, biomechanical flow and visceral quality of the Xenomorph.

The Alien Hive-Warrior emerges from the Hive, enveloped at the base by a pulsing hive entrance pregnant with various stages of the Xenomorph lifecycle - Eggs in stages of ripeness, freshly hatched Facehuggers crawling with single minded focus. It moves steady and silent, displaying an alien flow and dynamism to its movement.

The Alien (also known as Xenomorph or Internecivus raptus is a fictional endoparasitoid extra-terrestrial species that is the eponymous antagonist of the Alien film series."

Love everything besides the color of ALIEN....why not go with black?

This confused me as well. I was wondering if it was just the lighting or something. Brown on the xenomorph still seems like an odd choice for me.

The sculpt is beautiful but the color choice for the Alien is indeed a bad one. Black should have been the way to go.

Unfortunately its rust colors. If you go back a page you can see them working on the head with some light.

I like the closed mouth portrait and the base but that base is going to be really fragile because of the legs. I'm sure XM will sort the packing out but I wouldn't want to clean that if it's not in a case. I doubt the Facehugger legs are PVC either.

Aliens in 3 of the films had brown skin. Why is this surprising?

I like the domed head best, but I'm not a fan of that pattern underneath, that's a deal breaker imo. On the non-domed head, why does the back of it look like it's dissolved?

not a fan of this leathery look. the eggs and facehugger are great though.the dome with the pattern looks better than i thought. tough choice!
