The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Well if there were a fire and I could only save one statue then I'd probably grab my Sideshow Superman bust.

C'mon Hal, like you couldn't just create a fire extinguisher construct to quickly snuff it out

That fact that he's not saving a GL statue speaks volumes to how desperately we need new great Lantern statues.

The fire analogy limits my options. LBS Hulk would have to burn. There's no way I'm lugging him down two flights of stairs. Constantine is 55 pounds so doable, but awkward to carry while dodging flaming timbers. Hmmm...

Ha ha. I don't even own a Green Lantern statue. I think I just chose that username because I was reading Geoff John's GL run at the time. My entire collection is Superman. I do think the new Sideshow Hal looks great.

Beautiful and majestic pieces everyone. Thanks for sharing . Hope more members will continue to participate.

The flow of conversation on this page gave me a good chuckle . Thanks guys.

The house on fire analogy was something I was planning to mention in my opening post, but later realized it's bound to limit people's choices due to the size and weight of certain statues.

Even though this is all a hypothetical discussion, the fire analogy leads one to look at things realistically just as nearmint did.

Also this is not just a "your #1 favorite statue in your collection" question, cause that will lead most to come with a easier answer, knowing they get to have the rest.

But with the scenario that one has to relinquish everything else, that's when their one chosen statue truly gains more importance and weight (pun intended).

In that case, perhaps Spock will be saved .

In a house fire situation, I'm pretty sure collectors would gain the strength of ten men - not unlike stories about moms being able to lift cars off their children in an emergency...
