Joyeux Noël (2005) - I n December 1914, an unofficial Christmas truce on the Western Front allows soldiers from opposing sides of the First World War to gain insight into each other's way of life.
I believe this was recommended to me after watching Stalag 17 and will be added to my annual Christmas movie queue. Based on real events, it captures very well the spirit of the holiday without being too saccharine. 8/10

Wonder Woman 1984: I enjoyed the movie but felt it could have done with 20-30 less screen time for a much tighter film. Still great to see it in the cinema on the big screen and finally see her us a lower she hasn’t so far. 7/10.

The Blackcoat's Daughter (2015) 7/10
This one has a lot going for it. Written and directed by the son of Anthony Perkins it is a story with a couple of time lines about two young girls in a catholic boarding school with possibly Satan worshiping nuns and is more of a "scary" story than a horror movie vibe.

Tangerine (2015) - A hooker tears through Tinseltown on Christmas Eve searching for the pimp who broke her heart.
This is a new holiday classic unlike any other. 8/10
