I don’t know if your thinking what I’m thinking, but did you see the Hot Toys Reviews?

Better IMO you can even articulate the mouth which is pretty amazing looking.

Except for those damn seams on the interchangeable ears of course.
Imo the Sideshow one looks more accurate, but the Hot Toys is definitely cuter.
I preordered both since they went up, but it’s likely that the Hot Toys has the better paint job between the two.

yeah i saw the hot toy's one and as much as i like the articulation and how you can pose him, i'm not a fan of those ears. i'd rather they either give us swappable heads or just stick to one head. from some in hand videos/pictures i saw the ears don't really match up with the overall color of the child, but that might be the filter/coloring they put on.. but it definitely looks good as well, just if they got rid of the seamline then i would've pulled the trigger.
but one thing i noticed from both of them, they both don't have hair on his ears!

Agreed, If I had to choose it would depend on if Articulation and posing are important. If so then, of course, Hot Toys, if that is not your fancy then I would go SS.

I read various comments on SS/HT comparison videos saying that ht HT model will crack over time due to the material, and that people are having problems with the mouth tearing.
I need to decide today between HT and SS (local sale ends today) and I'm somewhat torn.

I would normally go HT, but the mouth tearing photos scare me to death.

the fact that this is based off the actual sculpt used for the show and it has no ear seams made it a no brainer for me. i have not heard about any of the issues with the HT version but thats even more reason to go SS
