Got mine today! Love it.
Quite big too. Although I didn't receive a $15 coupon, which I've emailed Debbie/Chad about. I think everyone will be quite happy with this statue.

The $15 coupon is tied to your account. They do not send out actual coupons.

Is it just me or does the cape connection make it look like the cape is connected to his skin and not to the suit?

To me, it doesn’t look like it’s connected to anything. It looks free-floating. Very different from the photo on the art box, where it’s clearly attached to the costume.

Exactly. I hope it doesn't bother me too much when I get mine.

Yep you can see the cape is coming from his skin rather than his costume in KevinK's pic.

The proto at SDCC the cape is flush with the costume, I hope this can be adjusted as this will bug the hell outa me.

I just checked it, gave it a little push and it settled in perfect. I suggest if yours is difficult to seat in, let it sit over night and let it come to room temperature before doing the finale push to settle it in.

sorry for the bad pic, used different camera
Thanks for the tip Statue-Man

Yeah seems like cape is coming from the skin instead of the costume

I'm not so sure this is fixable, the prototype has a flat edge where the cape touches his suit on the production version that part of the cape is rounded which makes it look like it's coming out of his skin, this could be a casting problem nobody caught. If it is, then Tweeterhead is going to have to make all new capes..

My Superman arrived today (as by DHL estimated) and i really love him!!

Unfortunately i have to confirm, that mine also has some of the aforementioned issues (cape, color bleeding).

Both problems exist, yes, but for me personally, are far less severe, than for other collectors.

Yes, from certain angles, the cape seems to come out of his skin, but i would not have noticed it, if not beeing made
aware of by forums (my point is - it is not that big of a deal or that obvious, when having the statue in front of you).

If you want to see a real "Cape-gate", take a look at SS Arthas - this still annoys the friggin hell out of me, every time i
look at this -otherwise gorgeous- statue!

The same goes for the color bleeding (the blue of the suit bleeds on the top edge of the belt) - if on normal viewing
distance (25 - 60cm), i would not have took notice. So, i wouldn't go so far to call the paint job "sloppy", but there is
room for improvement.. in certain areas.

The rest of the paint job is very clean (crest on the chest and the cape, look both great) and spot on.
The sculpt itself is immaculate, and is -at least in my eyes- the first Superman statue that really represents the look and
feel of the classic MoS a 100%! #gottohavetrunks

Overall i am more than happy with the Tweeterhead Superman and i will definitely keep him in my collection!

Cheers and merry Christmas to you all!

Cape issues aside, this looks like a really good Superman statue. Congrats to all who picked this up.
