Yeah, i think you are right. Prime 1 has the 1/4 license.
Then Sideshow can't bring 1/4 statues, can it?

Maybe Sideshow could focus on monsters? I think they would produce some spectacular 1/4 creatures. Besides the Toad Prince (which was a bizarre choice), Prime 1 hasn't shown any interest in that.

That would be great but the teaser in post #1 shows Gerald

Prime 1 had the 1/4 license... do they still have it?
They don't have distribution channels in the US since parting with SS do they? Could be that SS has the license for regions that Prime 1 doesn't?

Exactly.I sure hope prime 1 keeps the 1/4 scale license and Crapshow gets the 1/5.
I really don't need Greedshow to stain yet another license and worse, get the exclusivity.
Prime 1 is where the Witcher is at, not here.
What a horrible piece of news!

I think the show has given the IP a shot in the arm.
I'd be happy with a 1:5 Ciri as been waiting a long time on 1:4 one from P1.

People here act like there is only one type of collector. How about judge the product after you actually see it? Sideshow has been on a roll for a while now and they actually deliver statues in a timely manner. Which can't be said for other companies. My opinion is these may be a more affordable option to P1 and as others said these may not even be the same scale or a statue at all.

Absolutely. The show was excellent. I finished Witcher 1 & 2 but lost interest in 3 partway through. Jumped right back into it after watching the new show.

It's also the generic promo art for the game that gets used for tons of stuff so I'm not sure there are really any conclusions to be drawn from it.
