I say do the light black pastels to give them some depth and stay more old school with it. Your paint apps will make it pop anyway. No sense in making it busy with all the gold/yellow lines in the suit.

Just picked up a new kit, 1/4 scale AR Batman Full Cape Edition. This will make a nice compliment piece to my other AR Batman with the cape over his shoulders.
The studio says they can ship the unpainted kit in three months, we'll see about that LOL.
I'm in the market for a 1/4 scale Batman museum pose piece and this one is pretty cool. I like the blue scheme for this one.
I thought about the SS Drapes Batman...slap me if I do that again.

Here's something else that's in the works...1/4 Silver Surfer.
This is an open PO, but it's 29" tall overall which makes it super awesome and too tall for my BESTA cabinet.
I'm in conversations with the sculptor to see if he can customize the base so it's only 24" tall. If I can get him to do a custom 3D print instead of polystone I would light the base with flicker LEDs... let's see what happens. I'm a sucker for a unique museum pose and this is very cool.

Thanks! I've seen a bunch of Silver Surfer pieces on the groups, all basically one variation or another of the same theme, a dynamic pose swirling out of a black hole vortex.
This one is a bit different than that while still maintaining that museum pose esthetic I like. I'm looking forward to the challenge of painting this one up.
