statue looks great, yeah her face doesn't look like mai from 97 but to be honest almost all the statues im seeing of mai, non of them look like her regardless of which ever game they pick. they don't look bad, they just dont look like her. It is the same case with chun li. And their art work or in game models also been changing since the fatal fury era because of different artists. With that said, this bust looks great but too bad its 4k. beside I'm saving money to buy infinity studio buy. Now if this bust was around 2k, I would have preordered it down the line.

I happen to think the new one from Epoch looks bang on like Mai, and prob the best portrait of her on any statue..

Sugo (Australia) has had her up for almost a week now, and Spec Fiction (USA) has her up too. Which are two of the more popular sites here for Queen Studio pieces.

Well didn't check those, since I am european and those two shops are out of questions for me.
Maybe I should ask a few local retailers if this one will be available or not.

While it's beautifully executed from a technical standpoint if you just showed me her face, no outfit, I wouldn't guess with 5,000 guesses this was Mai from KOF (and I'm a fighting game fan).

They simply failed to capture Mai's spirit and energy. Mai is confident and bubbly yet they have her looking like a shy cosplay at her first convention.
