Yeah agreed. Very impresssive collection nice to see, and I really hope I will be able to add that black widow you have to my collection one day.

Edit. Not yours, but one like it is what I meant

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

This statue is really well done. It looks fantastic. The only thing I am not 100% sure is the base. Not very keen on the forced perspective backdrop on the base. I'd prefer to see the statue crouching on a larger stone lantern without backdrop, perhaps with a light inside. It's cleaner that way.

I?m waiting for the unboxing to see if that part is removable. If it is, I?ll be ordering her.

Those who seen in the comic con seem to not mind the keen perspective that much on this wise. Shoudl be all good.

It's strictly a personal choice. I am sure it is or it will be well received by some but probably not by all.

The thing about forced perspective base is that it forces the viewer to look at it from a fixed angle(s) depending on how many vanishing point(s) the perspective has. That means the viewer has a very restricted viewing angle to the piece. It won't work viewing it from the unintended angle(s). That's why I do not like that forced perspective background.

Since the statue is fixed on the base that means the viewing angle(s) in relation to the forced perspective backdrop is also fixed. If you want to display the statue outside the intended viewing angle then the backdrop would be in the way. That will probably turn some collectors away from this piece. The easy fix will be to give the collectors an option not to install the backdrop at all. It shouldn't be difficult to achieve. It seems very possible just by looking at the photos of the base.

Most of us force perspective on all of our pieces in how we display them, anyway. I can't see the back of any of my pieces, and side views are mostly blocked by the pieces I have displayed next to them.

That's because you have an amazing collection of statues, Jeff. It's an enviable difficulty you have there. For those who have only a few statues in the room the situation can be quite different.

BTW, you might need to move all your statues to a larger room very soon. It is getting crowded there.
