Yea but the quality of those sub $300 PFs are very very different versus what is pumped out these days. Anytime I see an "older" Sideshow PF I can immediately tell the quality difference.

Not to say I prefer the current pricing lol, but I think you get significantly better details and quality these days.

I wouldn?t say the quality was bad back then..also remember no 3D sculpting. So yeah less details than today..but I?ll easily put some of those older pieces against some newer ones.
I still have my OG Spider-Man, Indy and Boba Fett PFs.
Still look good IMO and those all cost me about $250 each.
Also the original Hulk is still one of the best hulks out there.

I agree that newer isn't always better. Some older statues are shocking but some are classics

This, My Wolverine Com looks just fine mixed in with my newer X-Men, same thing with the first Mystique PF.

Anything that doesn't 'hold up' was probably not all that great on release to begin with.
