It still looks effeminate. It's not only the pose though, it's also the body type.

Thing is, relaxed position or not, lots of comic characters fly. Do they generally look that dainty? Have you ever seen Superman or Namor or any other comic character who could fly ever presented that way?

Anyway, it's just an opinion.

I know what you meant rs. I just think its something different that the typical BD poses and don't see anything lady-like in it myself so I appreciate it more than others I guess. Moore is a very talented scuptor IMO.....

He's had a girlfriend in the series so, no. I agree that it does look somewhat effeminate but I've not seen any indication of such in the comic. He isn't overly muscular like your typical superhero, but not effeminate either.

excellent that stat of david is really not effeminate..that is a real work of art..here is a better pic..=)



it looks relaxed and doesnt have the overly arched back and the dainty hand jesture..


this is the way he should look like the pose exudes power..=)

he's a teenager in the comic, so he doesn't have the bulk of older characters
